ABOUT

MBP HELPING

HANDS

MBP Helping Hands, Inc., a 501(c)(3), is a community‑centered youth development organization that strengthens children and families through high‑quality sports programming, academic readiness support, and character‑building experiences. We create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can grow physically, mentally, and socially while gaining access to opportunities that build long‑term success.

Our mission is to level the playing field for youth by expanding access to transformative sports instruction, educational support, and character development. We foster discipline, strong values, and social awareness on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community by ensuring every young person has the tools, relationships, and resources needed to thrive.

FREE YOUTH
& COACHES CLINICS

Along-side providing free youth and coaches clinics, your support will help promote programs for minority players such as the HBCU ALL-STAR GAME, All-American Game(s), and The Minority Collegiate League.

Spring League Training

MBP Helping Hands’ Spring League Training, delivered in partnership with local parks and recreation centers across Georgia, provides youth with structured athletic development, mentorship, and safe community engagement. By operating directly within neighborhood parks, we ensure that high‑quality training is accessible, inclusive, and rooted in the communities we serve.

With the support of families, community partners, and city agencies, we work to level the playing field by ensuring every child has access to quality coaching, academic resources, and the tools to grow. Our Spring League Training strengthens neighborhoods, promotes physical and mental well‑being, and expands opportunities for youth across Atlanta.

Supporting
Communities

MBP Helping Hands, Inc. is dedicated to creating strong community impact both on and off the field. Our mission extends beyond athletics, building meaningful connections through initiatives that uplift families, strengthen neighborhoods, and prepare athletes for success in every stage of life.

  • Bookbag Give Back – Providing students with school supplies to ensure they are prepared for academic success.

  • Merry Mission: Play It Forward Holiday Give Back – Spreading joy during the holiday season by supporting families in need with gifts and resources.

  • Food Drive – Addressing food insecurity by partnering with local organizations to deliver meals and essentials to underserved communities.

  • Intern Workforce Development Program- Provides young athletes and community members with hands-on experience, mentorship, and career readiness training.

  • Life After Sport – Guiding athletes in their transition beyond the playing field with career readiness, financial literacy, and personal development programs that build sustainable futures.

Through these initiatives, MBP Helping Hands builds a legacy of education, opportunity, and community support, ensuring that our impact reaches far beyond the game.
